As EPCM contractor ENCOTEC is not directly involved in the building and construction of the project, but is responsible for the detailed design and overall management of the project, on behalf of the Client. ENCOTEC has a huge portfolio of projects with EPCM model that can be regarded as a professional services contract.

As EPCM contractor ENCOTEC has a duty to ensure that the engineering and design of the project is in compliance with the projects technical and functional specifications. Supervising, management and coordinating construction interface in accordance with a detailed schedule is the key responsibility of the EPCM contractor.

In the projects with EPCM model ENCOTEC is responsible for establishing contractual arrangements on behalf of the Client with other contractors, vendors and sub-contractors through a tender process. The main role of EPCM contractor is to be contracted by the Client for the construction management role. EPCM contract can be highly beneficial to a project.

In most instances, the EPCM model is structured on the basis of a cost-reimbursable fee structure or a unit rate fee structure.
